How it works

  1. Choose a PDF. It's analysed on your device in a few moments.
  2. If it has scanned pages, pick the language of their text: English, Hindi, English + Hindi, Bengali or Tamil.
  3. Select Convert to Word. Paragraphs, headings, lists, tables, images and links are rebuilt as real Word content.
  4. Download the Word document and edit it in any word processor.

What should I know?

  • The Word layout is rebuilt for editing and may not look exactly like the PDF.
  • Floating text boxes, vector shapes and charts may not reproduce exactly.
  • PDF form fields become normal document content, their labels and filled-in values are kept as text.
  • Comments, bookmarks and certificate signatures are not recreated as equivalent Word features. Digital signature certificates are not preserved as valid signatures in Word.
  • Scanned PDFs use OCR, and accuracy depends on scan quality. The English reader can occasionally read ₹ as ¥; nothing is changed automatically.
  • Some unusually encoded multilingual PDFs may not expose their original text correctly.
  • Complex multi-column layouts should be reviewed after conversion.
  • Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first. PDFs of up to 300 pages can be converted.

Privacy

Your PDF stays on your device. Analysis, text recognition and the Word file are all created inside your browser; the PDF, its text, images and tables are never sent to a server.

Supported formats

Input: PDF files with text, scanned PDFs and mixes of both. Output: a standard, editable Word document (.docx).

Frequently asked questions

Will the Word document look exactly like the PDF?

Not always. PDF uses fixed page positioning while Word is designed to reflow as you edit. OneDo Hub rebuilds the document to keep it useful and editable.

Can it convert scanned PDFs?

Yes. Printed text in scanned pages can be recognized with OCR. Scan quality affects how accurately the text is read.

Does my PDF upload anywhere?

No. Conversion runs in your browser.

Can I edit the Word file afterward?

Yes. The output is a standard DOCX document.

Are tables kept?

Yes, tables are rebuilt as real Word tables, including tables that continue over several PDF pages. If a table's structure is uncertain, you'll be told to check it.

Does it work with Hindi, Bengali and Tamil?

Yes, for PDFs that store their text properly, and for scanned pages through text recognition. If a PDF's text can't be recovered reliably, you'll see a notice and can read those pages with text recognition instead.
