Excel to PDF without cut-off columns

The usual problem with turning a spreadsheet into a PDF is the last few columns landing on their own pages, or dozens of blank pages from formatting far below your data. This converter measures your sheet first: it ignores empty rows and columns, skips hidden ones like Excel does, picks portrait or landscape, fits the columns to the page width and repeats the header row on every page. Text in the PDF stays selectable and searchable.

Privacy

Your spreadsheet is read and converted entirely inside your browser. The workbook, its cell values, formulas and sheet names are never uploaded or stored.

Supported formats

Excel workbooks (.xlsx, and .xlsm — macros are never run) and CSV files, up to 25 MB. Old .xls files need to be saved as .xlsx first. Output: a searchable PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How are wide spreadsheets fitted?

By default every sheet is scaled to fit one page wide, and Auto turns the page to landscape when the columns need it. If that would make the text too small to read, the sheet continues on a second page to the right instead.

Are my formulas changed?

No. Your file is never changed, and saved formula results are always used as they are. Common formulas saved without a result are calculated automatically. If a formula isn't supported yet, we leave the affected result empty and tell you — we never guess values. TODAY() and NOW() use the time you convert, so they can differ from when the workbook was last saved. Macros, links to other workbooks and web functions are never run.

Are my spreadsheets uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your figures never leave your device.

Are charts included?

Not yet. Pictures are included, but charts can't be drawn in the browser yet — you'll see a notice when a workbook has charts.
