Wording

Fixes formatting only: spacing, bullets, Markdown and dashes.

Emoji style

Spacing

Regular LinkedIn posts have no bold or italic. Styles here are Unicode characters that only look formatted, not real LinkedIn fonts. For accessibility and search readability, use them only for short hooks or key phrases. Hashtags, @mentions and links always stay in normal characters.

How it works

  1. Paste your post into the editor.
  2. Press Clean for LinkedIn (or Clean ChatGPT text) to remove Markdown, fix spacing and bullets.
  3. Optionally select a word or hook and make it bold or italic.
  4. Check the preview and the post check, then press Copy for LinkedIn and paste it into LinkedIn.

Why formatting changes when you paste into LinkedIn

Regular LinkedIn posts are plain text. Markdown symbols such as **bold**, # headings and tables from AI tools show up as raw characters, and rich formatting from Word or Docs is dropped. This tool turns that content into clean text with real line breaks and bullets, so it looks the same after you paste.

Does LinkedIn support bold text?

Not natively in regular posts. Bold and italic here use Unicode characters that look like formatted letters. LinkedIn shows them as typed, but they are different characters from normal letters.

Should I use Unicode fonts everywhere?

No. Screen readers may read styled letters oddly or skip them, and search may not match styled words. Use them for a short hook or one key phrase, and keep names, keywords, hashtags and links in normal text. Copy plain text gives you a version with all styling removed.

LinkedIn post character limit

Regular posts allow up to 3,000 characters. The counter warns you near the limit and tells you how far over you are; it never cuts your text. Styled Unicode letters can count as two characters, so the counter counts them that way too.

Posts vs Articles

LinkedIn Articles have a real rich-text editor with headings, bold and links, and allow much longer text. Switch to Article to get clean, structured text without Unicode styling, then format headings in LinkedIn's Article editor.

Privacy

Your post is formatted entirely inside your browser. The text is never uploaded, stored or sent to analytics. Only general events (for example that the copy button was used) are counted. OneDo Hub never logs into LinkedIn or posts for you.

Supported formats

Paste plain text, Markdown or text copied from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notion, Word or Google Docs. Output is plain text with optional Unicode emphasis that LinkedIn displays as-is.

Frequently asked questions

Will it change what I wrote?

With Keep my wording it only fixes formatting: Markdown, spacing, bullets and dashes. Improve structure rearranges paragraphs but never changes facts, numbers, names, dates or links.

Can I get my original text back?

Yes. After cleaning, switch between Original and LinkedIn ready, or press Restore original.

Does it post to LinkedIn for me?

No. It only formats and copies. You paste and publish the post yourself.
