Frequently asked questions
What does Repair PDF fix?
It attempts to rebuild recoverable PDF structure such as damaged cross-reference information, object references and page structure.
Can every corrupted PDF be repaired?
No. If original bytes or important objects are missing or overwritten, some content may not be recoverable.
Will the pages become images?
No. OneDo Hub repairs the PDF structure rather than recreating every page as a screenshot.
Will repair change my document?
The tool rewrites damaged PDF structure where needed. Recoverable page content, text, images, forms and other document features are preserved wherever possible.
What happens to digital signatures?
A repaired copy is a modified file, so an existing certificate signature will no longer validate.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Repair runs in your browser.
Why might some content be missing after repair?
Repair can reconstruct damaged structure, but it cannot recreate file data that is no longer present.
