Why rules differ by route
The same country can have very different photo rules for a passport and a visa — and even for the same passport applied for online, on paper, at an office or from abroad. Some routes don't need a photo at all; some require a professional photographer; some official uploads crop the photo themselves. The tool asks your exact route first and only offers the actions that route allows.
Official-source policy
Every workflow links to a government, embassy or official portal page, and shows when it was verified and when it's next due for review. If a review date passes, the page says so instead of calling the rule current. Blogs and photo-service sites are never treated as an authority.
Disclaimer
OneDo Hub is independent and not affiliated with or approved by any government, embassy or passport office.
Privacy
Your photo is opened, checked and cropped entirely in this browser. Face guidance runs on your device using a model served from OneDo Hub itself — no photo, face measurement or landmark ever leaves the page. Only the anonymous choice of workflow is counted, never images, file names or face data. Exported files carry no metadata, so camera location (GPS) is never included.
Supported formats
Upload JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC. The download uses the format the authority requires (JPEG for every current workflow). Print sheets are JPEG at 300 dpi.
Frequently asked questions
Is this photo guaranteed to be accepted?
No. Photos are prepared against the official requirements shown for your route. Final acceptance is always decided by the issuing authority.
Do I need a photo for an Indian passport at a PSK?
Normally no — your photo is captured at the Passport Seva Kendra or POPSK appointment. Official guidance asks parents of children under 4 to carry a 4.5 × 3.5 cm photo with a white background.
Why can't I make a Canadian or Australian passport photo here?
Canada requires photos taken by a commercial photographer, and Australia's online renewal uses a photo code from a photo provider. We show the official rules and let you check a photo, but we don't pretend a home-made file replaces that process.
Why is background removal not available?
Most authorities require an unaltered photograph. Replacing the background, retouching or AI enhancement can get a photo rejected, so the tool never offers them. If the background is wrong, retake the photo.
Does my photo get uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. The face-finding model is downloaded from OneDo Hub once and runs on your device.
