What is kept, and why
Color profiles, transparency, animation and similar technical data stay in the file, because removing them could change how the picture looks. If a photo needs its orientation tag to appear upright, that one tag is kept and the result says so. The picture data itself is copied byte for byte, so quality never changes.
Privacy
Your image is read and cleaned inside your browser. It isn't uploaded, and location details are shown only as text on this page. No map or outside service is used.
Supported formats
JPEG, PNG and WebP (including transparent and animated WebP), one image at a time, up to 200 MB. The output keeps the same format. HEIC and HEIF aren't supported yet.
Frequently asked questions
What image metadata can OneDo Hub remove?
The tool can remove supported EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC and descriptive metadata while preserving technical information needed for correct image display.
Can photos contain my location?
Yes. Some cameras and phones store GPS coordinates with photos. OneDo Hub shows location metadata before removal when it is present.
Does removing metadata reduce image quality?
No. Metadata is removed from the image container. The picture data is not re-encoded, so quality stays exactly the same.
Why might orientation information be kept?
Some photos are stored sideways with a tag that tells apps to rotate them. Removing that tag would show the photo rotated, so it is kept and reported.
Does OneDo Hub remove the date shown inside the picture itself?
No. The tool removes hidden metadata, not text or information visibly captured in the image pixels.
Does it remove people or objects from photos?
No. It only removes supported hidden metadata.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Metadata inspection and removal run in your browser.
