What the official source says
- Official text: Maximum Size: 30Kb, Image Dimension: 150W X 200H px, Image Type: JPG.
- Official text: your name and date of photo taken must be inscripted (in two lines) in black color text with white rectangular background at the bottom of the photograph.
- The official page gives no strip height, font or date format, so the tool uses a plain white strip with black text and lets you pick the date format.
- Signature (separate upload): 150W X 100H px, maximum 30 KB, JPG — use the Signature Resizer.

Official-source policy
Each preset shows its authority, the official page it comes from, when it was verified and when it is next reviewed. When an authority doesn't state something — such as the strip height or font — the tool says so instead of guessing. OneDo Hub is independent and not affiliated with any commission or government.
Privacy
Your photo, name and date are processed entirely in this browser. Nothing is uploaded, and the name and date are never sent to analytics — only the anonymous choice of preset is counted. The downloaded JPG carries no camera or location data.

Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't it fill in today's date?
The date on the photo must be the day it was taken. If you upload an older photo you enter its real date; today's date is only suggested when you take the photo now.
Is SSC or Railway (RRB) listed?
Not at the moment. Their current applications capture the photo live in the form, so a name-and-date photo isn't needed. If a specific notice asks for one, it will be added as its own verified rule.
Why isn't TNPSC listed?
The official TNPSC instructions we checked give photo sizes but no name-and-date requirement, so it isn't offered as a name-and-date preset.
My name is long. Will it be cut off?
No. The text gets smaller to fit; if it would become unreadable you'll see a warning instead, and nothing is cropped.
Is the photo guaranteed to be accepted?
No. It is prepared against the verified requirements shown. Final acceptance is determined by the application authority.
